How is this salon different from other grooming facilities?
The traditional grooming salon model is commission based and provides a very modest amount of groomers a livable wage. Original Grooming is a cowork salon for groomers interested in more autonomy in their work. Every groomer is in business for themselves. They create their own schedule, book their appointments, and set their own prices. Think of Original Grooming as many private grooming salons all in one location. At our grooming facility entrepreneurs enjoy a collaborative work environment with invaluable mentoring and networking opportunities, support and shared equipment.
Do I need to book an appointment in advance?
Yes, full grooming services require an appointment. We use Vagaro software so that you may schedule, edit, or view appointment(s) at your convenience here. All appointments booked through Vagaro receive and email and/or text when booked and a reminder 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

What is the wait list?
The wait list is a list of clients who wish to be contacted in the event of a cancellation. Adding yourself to the waiting list on Vagaro only ensures you may be contacted in the event of a cancellation. To secure an appointment request with your desired day and time; it’s best to book an appointment.
What vaccinations do you require?
In accordance to California law all pets must be current on their rabies vaccinations. It is advised to wait at least 48 hours after any vaccinations before grooming services are performed.
How long can I expect the groom to take?
You can’t rush art.
Dependent on: each individual groomer, services requested, your dog’s: size, breed, temperament, and if your groomer’s client(s) arrive on time to their appointments. approximately: 1.5-4.5 hours
Why do you charge more than corporate grooming salons?
Good work costs good money.
Although compared to the hidden add-on fees like peak pricing, Original Grooming Groomers are very reasonable priced for services rendered.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment on Vagaro to avoid a cancellation fee of 25% of your requested service.
*Your groomer may exercise their own discretion to cancel the appointment if you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment.
